Hal-Con took place early this year, and Rich Graphics Game Rentals was there in full force! This year we provided a half a dozen classic arcade cabinets and a dozen different retro consoles for people to play with over the fun-filled weekend. In true Hal-Con fashion, it was bigger and better than ever this year. Hopefully the new Trade Centre will be built in time for next year’s Con – we were bursting at the seams this time around!

As always, the cosplay grew more elaborate – with one of my personal favorites’ being Blake dressing as Fat Apollo – a self-proclaimed local celebrity and all around good guy. Another vendor of note was an up-and-coming VR expert 902 Games, showcasing some of his software. I’m a big fan of VR as a technology, and it was really, really cool to play Murder Death Box for the first time at the Con.
